Nestled in a small north-easterly facing cove on Koh Phangan’s northern coast lies tranquil Haad Khom, one of the lesser-known beaches on the island.
Haad Khom is much smaller and quieter than its neighbour, Bottle Beach. This will suit those looking to hear less music playing and who want to see fewer people coming to and from the beach on a daily basis as most longtail boats will skirt past Haad Khom on their way round to Bottle Beach.
The beach is reached most easily by hopping on board a longtail boat at nearby Chaloklum for the short ride around the headland. There is a dirt track through to the beach from Chaloklam which can be used by those not wanting to pay for a boat.
