Chaloklum – Back and Beyond Phangan

There’s a real feeling at Chaloklum that the larger style developments on the rest of Koh Phangan are still far from encroaching.

It’s a fishing village that has maintained its charm with its fruit and fish market stalls existing amongst a throng of bamboo and wooden huts.

It’s really quiet here.. but that’s not the only great thing about this beach.

Relaxing at Chaloklum will keep you nice and chilled but if you’re seeking further solitude then jump on board a longtail boat and head around the corner to Haad Khom or the stunning Bottle Beach for the day.

If you stayed at Chaloklum for a week or so you’d never want to go home. This has been the case for many an ex-pat over the years.. this island is so alluring that you can understand why.
